The screen was designed and built out of vertically stacked tinted glass allowing the community to connect while minimizing the visual presence often associated with water treatment plants.
“The screen takes on an aesthetic function of a dynamic façade where assorted pieces create patterns.”
The passage other than a route to the plant serves information to the community.
The principle of the facade is inspired by a double-skin facade that allows a modulation of light and air to the treatment plant.
