Form Design Studio presents “Chandurwala Residence,” a neo–art deco revival in Indore that reimagines a 45-year-old home for contemporary living.

In the heart of Indore stands the Chandurwala Residence, a home that has carried memories for over 45 years. Time, however, had left its imprint, and the family turned to Form Design Studio to restore, reimagine, and breathe new life into their beloved house.

Our vision was clear: preserve the essence, modernize the experience. The challenge lay in balancing the home’s Art Deco character with contemporary needs of space, light, and comfort.

Restored Details
Ornate moldings, graceful arches, and vintage cornices were carefully preserved, retaining the home’s character while elevating its elegance.
Light and Volume
Larger openings and taller ceilings bring daylight deep into the interiors, creating airy, connected, and uplifting spaces.
Neo Art Deco
Custom furniture and finishes draw from timeless design, blending past elegance with a bold contemporary spirit.

Function

The renovation reimagines daily living by streamlining layouts and expanding bedrooms, ensuring comfort and usability while retaining the home’s historic charm. The result is a residence that feels both practical and timeless.

Reviving Timeless Elegance

The interiors of Chandurwala Residence celebrate a refined neo–art deco spirit, where restored heritage elements meet a fresh, contemporary sensibility. Each space is carefully curated to balance elegance with everyday functionality, allowing the home to feel timeless yet personal. Natural light, bespoke furniture, and a thoughtful color palette come together to create an atmosphere that is both graceful and inviting.

Renovated Family Home
